Hi from Toronto, the coldest and dickliest city in the world. Seriously, all I do here is carb out and watch Jersey Shore. I guess its the holidays so I have a right.
The other night I was having an anxiety attack in the middle of the night so Linton put on the Borg special edition Trek DVD and I watched "I, Borg" (503). Does anyone else find that the Borg soothes them? There is something really calming about the species that just makes me feel "at home" and "together"???
Also, HUGH: TO BONE OR NOT TO BONE??

are we talking hugh "pre-individuality full-on borgism" or "post-individuality politico-roboto"? remember, borg only assimilate civilizations not individuals. so, pre-separation from the hive mind, even if i wanted to hugh probably wouldn't even take notice of me & only after the third or forth attempt would his shields remodulate to reject me. post-separation i always felt hugh was kinda whiny & all the childlike questions come across as more creepy than innocent. the later 'sodes with him are cooler when he's all cave dwellin borg civil rights leader. way more balls to him by then. but that's a different episode. so i'm gonna go with no bone. nonetheless great episode tho. geordi & data's unsolvable puzzle virus, wicked. whole thing is up on youtube right now.
